Our Cotswolds Pub forms the backbone of The Feathered Nest, and a warm welcome invites you into our cosy log-fired bar area where traditional cask-conditioned ales take centre stage. Selected beers, lagers and ciders are available in bottles and on draught.

Guests can enjoy over twenty-five selected wines by the glass and those seeking an after dinner ‘night cap’ might be tempted by one of the fine Malts, Armagnacs, Cognacs or Ports on offer.

Our daily menus offer diners a choice of delectable dishes to be enjoyed in all four of our dining areas, including the bar, at our truly unique “Cotswolds Pub with a Twist”.

On warm, balmy sunny days the garden terrace allows for outside dining, naturally shaded by the old Sycamore tree.

Champagne

We are proud to introduce our champagne supplier, Ruinart. The House of Ruinart, the first established Champagne house, has been producing bottles since 1729, and The Feathered Nest are thrilled to be serving Blanc de Blancs, Dom Ruinart Rose and R De Ruinart.

At the heart of the Ruinart cuvées is the Chardonnay grape, harvested in the south Champagne region of Côtes des Blancs and Montagne de Reims; the essence of the delicate and explicit taste- the “Ruinart Taste”.

Tasting Notes

R De Ruinart- The epitome of freshness. The nose is delicate and fruity displaying dominant aromas of fresh white pear and dry fruits such as hazelnuts and almonds, followed by white flower notes, Viennese pastry and buttered brioche.

Blanc de Blancs- Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. The nose is powerfully reminiscent of fresh fruits with dominant notes of citrus and exotic fruits, followed by jasmine, white peaches and pink peppercorns.

Dom Ruinart Rose - The Dom Ruinart Rose 2002 is an exceptional vintage with a vibrant and complex nose. The exotic fruity aroma intermingles with notes of rose and violet, with a touch of musc. This champagne owes it's distinct character to it's heritage, 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir made into red wine.

Book a table and join us at The Feathered Nest. Experience our exciting selection of Ruinart champagne to be enjoyed and complemented by our exceptional seasonal menu, or simply have a drink and relax in a beautiful location residing in the heart of the Cotswolds. We look forward to your company.
